Apostle Bartholomew, nimbed, raising right hand, holding scroll with left hand within initial G decorated with foliate ornament on gold ground.
Margins:
1) Apostle, Bartholomew: Martyrdom -- In left medallion of lower margin, one executioner flays skin from right arm of nude Bartholomew, nimbed, and another flays left leg of Bartholomew with knife.
2) Apostle, Bartholomew: Martyrdom -- Executioner, wearing sheath on right side, raises sword with right hand. He stands behind Bartholomew, nimbed, possibly flayed, kneeling with joined hands raised.
Half-figure of angel, nimbed and winged, is between the two medallions, each hand grasping medallion
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament with head of man wearing hat amid foliage.
