Christ: Deposition -- Christ, crossed nimbus, with crown of thorns, bleeding from wounds, wearing loincloth, His feet still nailed to cross, is held from behind by Nicodemus, on ladder leaning on the cross; Joseph of Arimathea, wearing hat, holds with right hand, left thigh of Christ, and Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, holds His left hand with her right hand and looks up at Him. Behind her stand two Holy Women, both nimbed, one veiled with joined hands. At right stands Evangelist John, nimbed, head inclined, with joined hands.
Margins decorated with border of foliate ornament and rinceaux.
