Beginning of Malachi
Within initial O sits Christ, cross nimbed, holding banner in right hand. With his left hand he touches shoulder of Jacob, nimbed, holding with both hands scoll inscribed JACOB. At left is Esau, raising right forefinger. He is identified by label, ESAU.
