Christ: Ascension -- Christ, cross-nimbed, as half figure, holds cross-inscribed banner with His left hand.
He ascends on cloud above half figures of Virgin Mary, veiled, with her right hand raised, and two apostles, including Peter with crossed hands before his breast. All are nimbed.
Scene within initial P decorated with interlace and foliate ornament, at beginning of notated Preface at Ascension.
