Christ: Circumcision -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with right hand, touches left leg of nude Christ Child, nimbed. He is held by Mohel, square nimbus, wearing conical hat or tiara, holding with right hand knife to His genitals. Two men wearing hats and youth stand next to Virgin Mary, looking on. Eight other men (?), six wearing hats, are at left. At right, Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, wearing hat holds stick with right hand and two doves with left hand.
Scene at entrance to building below canopy supported by columns, one rising from back of lion. Hills, trees, city, body of water in distance.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
