Christ: Entombment -- Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea, nimbed, lower into sarcophagus body of Christ, nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, with hands crossed on his abdomen. Beside the sarcophagus stand Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with sword in breast and joined hands raised, and Evangelist John, nimbed, supporting Virgin Mary. In background is top of tau cross.
