Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, with joined hands kneels before God, crossed nimbus, wearing cross surmounted triple crowned papal tiara, raising right hand in blessing, holding cross surmounted tripartite globe with left hand, seated on throne. Two angels hover, placing the crown on head of Virgin Mary. Behind her is throne. Above, three angels hold scroll inscribed with musical notation.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including rose and strawberry, and inhabited by hybrid man holding bow and arrow, his torso emerging from neck of large bird.
