Christ: Presentation -- Simeon of Jerusalem, nimbed, wearing bishop's miter and cope, holds in both hands over draped round altar partially draped Christ Child, nimbed, extending His hands toward Virgin Mary, nimbed, possibly kneeling. Behind her stand Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, holding lighted candle in right hand, and Prophetess Anna, wearing turban, holding basket with dove.
Miniature enclosed in architectural frame.
Upper, left, and lower margins with floreate and vinescroll ornament.
