Arched vignette within block border of floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberries. Margin, lower: Month, Occupation: May -- Beneath starry sky, mounted horseman, wearing hat, holding falcon in left hand, turns head back toward horsewoman, wearing veiled hennin, seated sideways on bridled horse, followed by male attendant, wearing hat, holding leafy branch in left hand (courting). Figures on path in hilly landscape with trees. Medallion vignette within block border of floreate and foliate decoration, including currants.
