David: in Prayer -- David, crowned, kneeling with hands raised in prayer, money bag hanging from belt, harp at feet, looks up into sky at God, cross-nimbed, right hand raised in blessing, left hand holding orb, surrounded by red angels, possibly cherubim.
Landscape of scene contains trees, some cut off at trunk, lake with ship and birds, two shepherds with ass and sheep, and buildings in distance. Sky filled with stars.
Scene inside gold frame.
