Christ: Flight into Egypt, Miracle of Cornfield -- Virgin Mary, with scalloped nimbus, holding swaddled infant Christ Child, nimbed, sits sideways on bridled ass led by Joseph, holding reins in left hand and staff with bundle over right shoulder. In background to left, helmeted soldier, holding spear in right hand, gestures to man, wearing hat, holding sickle in right hand, standing beside cornfield. In background to right, helmeted soldier, with sword raised in right hand, holds in left hand arm of bleeding nude infant. The infant's mother, wearing headdress, stands beside and extends both hands to the head of the soldier, before house (Innocents: Massacre). Scene in landscape with hills, river, and city with towers.
Margins with foliate ornament, with four linked medallions enclosing foliate ornament. Right margin inhabited by hybrid man, wearing hood; lower margin inhabited by fantastic animal with large fangs eating fantastic bird.
