Miniature:
Christ: Presentation -- Prophetess Anna or female attendant, holding basket of doves, and Joseph the Carpenter, with head draped, holding candle in right hand, stand behind Virgin Mary, wearing wimpled veil. She supports nude Christ Child, seated on draped altar on which are gold vessels. Standing behind altar, Simeon extends hands toward Him. Scene in interior of temple with three windows.
Margins decorated with border of floral and foliate ornament. In left margin, brown swan. In lower margin, male figure, wearing headgear, carrying basket on back and staff over his shoulder.
