Month, Occupation: August -- Woman, wearing cap, with hem of her dress tucked into sash at waist, cuts grain with sickle. Man, with hat hanging down his back from cord around neck, wearing apron, ties cut grain into bundle. In background is windmill on hill.
Zodiac Sign: Virgo -- In blue cloud at upper left is woman holding sheaf of wheat in each hand.
Initials KL with floreate ornament.
In lower margin are looped, knotted cords connected to gold frame around miniature and text.
