Trinity: Mercy Seat -- God, cross-nimbed, sits on a bench, supporting the tau-cross on which Christ, cross-nimbed, is affixed with three nails in His hands and crossed feet, and wears a loin cloth. The cross-nimbed dove of Holy Ghost, with wings spread, appears in profile between God and Christ. Scene with filigree background, within inital D decorated with geometric ornament and diapered spandrels.
Margins - Rectlinear and curvilinear bars decorated with foliage, and inhabited by a bird.
