Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing short loin cloth and crown of thorns, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI. To left of cross stand Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with joined hands raised; Evangelist John, nimbed; and other nimbed figures. To right stands Longinus of Jerusalem, wearing armor and helmet, with right hand pointing upward to Christ. In background are helmeted soldiers with spears. In distance are buildings on hills of Jerusalem.
Floreate margins with two fantastic animals.
