Apocalypse: Lion of Judah -- John, nimbed, right hand on breast, raising left hand, kneels on island in landscape. He looks up toward God, wearing cross-surmounted, triple-crowned tiara, right hand resting on open book with seven seals, left hand on globe, seated on throne with footrest. Lion, nimbed, reclines on the footrest, below the book, next to feet of God. Throne is surrounded by Elders, eight (?) crowned, four with joined hands, most only head is visible. At left, foremost Elder indicates angel flying above, right hand to face. Elder extends left hand toward the lion. Illustration of Revelation 5:1.
