Christ: Ascension -- Christ, nimbus as rays, wearing long pink robe, raises both hands, ascends into arc of heaven, above group of kneeling or partly kneeling apostles, most looking up, including tonsured Apostle Peter, with head turned away, and possibly Evangelist John, holding book, some with joined hands raised or gesturing. Scene in landscape with city and cloudy sky in background. Margin, lower: Half-figure of angel emerging from bud amid foliate ornament, with right hand extended to stem. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament, including daisies, cornflowers and roses. Text is from Antiphon for Lauds on Feast of Ascension.
