Christ: Flight into Egypt, Miracle of Cornfield -- Joseph the Carpenter, hooded, with right hand holds draped staff over right shoulder, behind bridled ass on which Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, sits sideways, holding Christ Child, cross-nimbed, in swaddling clothes. In background soldier, holding sword in both hands, stands before man with scythe reaping grain.
Scene in landscape setting with rocks, trees, lake, and castles in background, all within arched gold frame.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), ape and monkey, both seated, eat.
Margins decorated with foliate border of acanthus leaves, flowers, strawberries, and bird.
