Within initial D, pilgrim, wearing hat on strap on back, raising right hand, carrying staff with left hand, feet bare, walking to right, shoes possibly hanging from left arm. Initial decorated with foliate ascender in left margin and descender in lower margin. Text is Psalm 39 (Vulg., 38).
