Pentecost -- Rays descend from dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed, hanging from top of initial D. Below are Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands amid seven apostles, nimbed, most only top of nimbus visible. Two foremost apostles, one probably Evangelist John, each raise hand. All are behind low wall. Scene enclosed in initial D on gold ground, and decorated with foliate ornament. Center margin decorated two vertical gold bars terminating in floreate ornament. At beginning of collect for Mass on feast of Pentecost.
