Mortifiement de Vaine Plaisance: Heart returned to Soul -- Personfication of Soul, veiled, sits or kneels on ground before dilapidated house, and with both arms embraces cross held by personification of Fear of God, with sword of Divine Justice over her head, and by personification of Contrition, veiled, bare-breasted, holding switches under her left arm. Nailed to the cross is heart.
