Border composed of bands of foliate ornament, inhabited by numerous grotesques, including hybrid men, some wearing hoods or helmets. In top margin is escutcheon with unidentified English arms (quarterly first and fourth gules a castle or, second and third argent a lion rampant sable).
Bands interrupted by quatrefoils enclosing geometric ornament or heraldic (?) designs.
Small initials with foliate ornament.
Square musical notation on four-line staves.
