Christ: Betrayal and Arrest -- Judas, nimbed, embraces Christ, crossed nimbus, His left arm grasped by soldier. At right two Holy Women, nimbed and veiled, one raising her hands, look toward each other.
Caption, QUARTA TRISTICIA BEATE UIRGINIS, is inscribed above scene.
Right column:
Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, crossed nimbus, wearing short loincloth, bleeding from wounds in left hand, side and feet, is affixed with three nails to cross. He is flanked by Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, orant, sword piercing her breast and by Holy Woman, nimbed and veiled, right hand on breast.
