Margin, left: John Baptist: Scene, addressing Christ -- Christ, cross-nimbed, gesturing beside John Baptist, nimbed, with right forefinger raised beneath scroll inscribed EGO A TE DEBEO BAPTISARI. Initial O, enclosing head of man, wearing hat. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, inhabited by half figures of four angels, gesturing, emerging from clouds (upper, left, and lower); and two bearded men (upper and lower left).
