Scene, Liturgical: Dedication of Church -- Procession led by two acolytes carrying bannered cross-staffs advances from behind church. In courtyard, merchants sell goods in stalls adjoining church (commerce). Clerics gather to right of church.
Miniature and text framed by border decorated with foliate ornament and budding and full flowers, including pink, strawberry, and violas.
In lower border, miniature depicting male and female merchants traveling along road bearing goods for sale, including woman carrying pheasant under right arm, basket of chicks on her head, and basket of eggs with pitcher on left arm. She follows man astride horse, carrying dead calf. Child with pin-wheel follows woman. Figures pass barn with hen and chicks in barnyard.
