David: rebuked by Nathan -- Nathan, standing beside draped throne, extends left hand to David, wearing ermine collar, kneeling with head down and joined hands to mouth (repentant). His crown is on floor beside him. Group of male figures gather to right. Scene occurs in coffered, barrel-vaulted hall, decorated with statues of male figures, including soldier, in niches.
