1) Christ: anointed by Woman -- Within architectural setting, Christ, cross-nimbed, and three men are seated at table with pitcher, cups, loaves, plates filled with meats. Behind them is patterned hanging.
On other side of table, woman (Mary Magdalen), nimbed, kneeling beside ointment jar, washes feet of Christ with hair.
2) Mary Magdalen: Miracle of Sainte-Baume -- Outside of architectural setting, within landscape, priest, kneels, joined hands raised, beside cave in which is Mary Magdalen, nimbed, nude. She glances up toward two angels holding book, singing, appearing amid rays of light issuing from starry arc of heaven bordered by rainbow.
Three rabbits nibble grass before cave. In background are buildings of city.
