Bust of man, possibly soldier, wearing helmet (?) enclosed in initial U decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on Saturday of third week of Lent.
