Margin, left: Christ, cross-nimbed, raising right hand in blessing above kneeling man, possibly cleric, with joined hands raised, beneath scroll inscribed DOMINE SI UIS POTES ME MUNDARE from Matthew 08:02. Initial P enclosing head of man, wearing hood. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, inhabited by half figures of three angels, one gesturing, all emerging from clouds, the others playing trumpet or lute (left); and two possibly tonsured clerics (upper and lower left); bearded man amid foliage (lower).
