1) Virgin Mary: Coronation -- In initial D decorated with geometric ornament and diapered backgrounds, Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, crowned, raises her joined hands toward Christ, crossed, pearled nimbus, holding book in His left hand, and raising His right hand toward the Virgin. Both are seated on draped bench.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, enclosing six French heraldic escutcheons, including Count of Soissons (one), Moreuil (two), Hangest (one), and Count of Grandpr³b (one), and inhabited by hybrid man playing pipe and tabor, hooded monkey playing portative organ, four birds including one flying, hybrid bird, hybrid animal, and hybrid man wearing dunce hat.
