Red and blue angels and male and female figures are gathered around draped throne, on which are seated Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, arms crossed, and Christ, rayed cross as nimbus, holding globe surmounted by cross. Archangel Michael, holding cross-staff, and John Baptist, kneeling, hands joined, flank throne. Below are female figures, tonsured monks, and several figures, backs turned, including some wearing vestments. All figures are nimbed.
