Christ: among Doctors -- Youthful Christ, crossed nimbus, arms raised, is seated on bench with footrest, amid six men, one with draped head, three wearing hoods, two possibly tonsured, one holding scroll (?) with pseudo-inscription, two looking and gesturing toward Him, others in pairs, looking at each other.
Caption, SEXTU(M) GAUDIU(M) FILI Q(UO)D FECISTI NOB(IS) SIC EGO ET P(ATE)R TU(US) DOL(E)NTES, is inscribed above miniature.
Right column:
Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, crowned and veiled, with joined hands raised, is seated on throne with footrest, next to Christ, crossed nimbus, crowned. He extends right hand to her crown, and holds book with left hand.
