Left column:
Magi: Adoration --Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, is seated on bed (?), holding on her lap nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, holding in raised right hand, lid of vessel to which He extends His left hand. The vessel is held by eldest Magus, kneeling before them. Of the other two Magi, crowned, one indicates upward with right hand and holds vessel with left hand; the other gestures with right hand and holds covered vessel with left hand. Both stand at right. Figures stand below ruined, thatched roof of illusionistic shed; star is above.
