Margins and initial C with floreate and geometric ornament.
Top margin with medallion enclosing fruit and leaves. The medallion is flanked by doe, laying down; bird; winged putto (cherub), seated; and second bird. Left margin with medallion enclosing fruit. Bird perched on top of the medallion.
Lower margin with central medallion enclosing escutcheon with arms of Matthias I Corvinus, King of Hungary, surmounted by crown and supported by three winged putti. Medallion framed by wreath supported by two winged putti. Enclosed in two smaller flanking medallions are flint and steel, and purse (emblems of Matthias I Corvinus). Fountain (?), on which perches bird, surmounts medallion with flint and steel. Margin inhabited by two birds, leaping rabbit, and doe, laying down.
