In margins, amid foliate ornament, are small grotesques and hybrids, including one pursuing a ladybug. In the upper right border are escutcheons with arms of Clare (or three chevrons gules), England (gules three leopards passant or), and Warenne (checky or and azure). In the lower right corner is escutcheon with arms of Vescy (or a cross sable).
