Miniature:
Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, crossed nimbus, wearing short loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus INRI. At left are two Holy Women, one veiled, Evangelist John, supporting swooning Virgin Mary, veiled. All are nimbed. At right are Longinus and four soldiers, all holding spears.
Scene in landscape with tree and hills in background.
Margin, lower:
Christ: in Gethsemane -- Three Apostles, nimbed, sit asleep behind Christ, crossed nimbus, with joined hands looking up toward chalice and wafer (host) on rocky outcrop. Scene behind woven fence.
Margins decorated with rectilinear frame around miniature and text, and with border of floreate and foliate ornament inhabited by birds.
