Tau cross with titulus INRI, flanked by sun and moon, in landscape with building on hill in distance.
Branch as line ending.
Lower miniature:
Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, rays as cross nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing short loincloth, is affixed with three nails to tau cross with titulus INRI. Sun and moon flank the cross. Below, at left Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, possibly with wimple, stands with arms crossed on breast. Evangelist John, nimbed, with joined hands, stands at right.
