Psalm 110 (Vulg., 109).
1) Initial D:
Trinity: Two Persons flanking Dove -- Dove of Holy Ghost, cross-nimbed, descends from cloud toward cross-nimbed Christ.
He holds open book, inscribed EGO SUM PASTOR BON(US) NOUI based on John 10:11, 14, in His right hand on His knee and raises His left hand.
To right, God, cross-nimbed, raises His right hand and holds book, inscribed DIXIT DOMINUS SEDE A DEXTRIS from Psalm 110:1 (Vulg., 109:1), in His left hand. Both sit on bench and glance at each other.
Scene with gold diapered background, within initial D decorated with geometric ornament, foliage, including vine and acanthus leaves, and cusped marginal extensions embellished with gold balls.
2) Pen-drawn line endings:
Winged hybrid man with one arm, and abstract penwork.
