1) Christ: bearing Cross -- In initial D decorated with geometric ornament and diapered spandrels, two holy women, one possibly Virgin Mary, wearing a veil and wimple, with her arms raised, stand behind Christ, cross-nimbed. He bears the stem of the cross on His right shoulder and is led by a man holding instrument
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, enclosing five French heraldic shields, including Moreuil (two) and Count of Grandpré (one), and inhabited by three hybrid men, including two wearing hats, and three birds, including a parrot.
