Among two men, wearing draped headgear and fur-lined garments, one sits on chair and extends left arm which is pierced by pointed object held in right hand of man, their left hands joined, stream of blood issues from the wounded left arm to one of two bowls on table in foreground (Scene, Occupational: Bloodletting). Scene in room with chair, tiled floor and filigree background; all within initial U decorated with pen flourishing.
