Christ: Piet³l -- Virgin Mary, with rays as nimbus and wimpled veil, is seated before tau-cross, bearing titulus INRI, and supports, with right hand under His neck and left hand on His abdomen, body of Christ, with rays as nimbus and wearing crown of thorns, short loin cloth. Wounds in His hands, side and feet bleed. They are surrounded by instruments of passion including, hammer, spear, sponge on stick, ladder, three dice, nails, scourges, column with rope, sword and seamless garment. Scene has background of gold filigree on red, and foreground of grass with flowering plants.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament. In right border, wound around sections of vine, are two inscribed scrolls. Top inscription is D(IXIT) M(ARIA) ANCA(L)LA D(O)M(INI) FIAT M(IHI) SE(CUN)D(U)M; the bottom is TECUM DOMINA PLENA GRATIA MARIA AVE. At bottom corners, in each of two medallions formed by vines is monochrome head of man surrounded by leaves.
