Pentecost -- Before tent-like canopy, Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneels at draped prie-dieu on which is open book, her hands resting on book. At right are three (?) Holy Women (?), nimbed, and veiled, one orant, and 13 (?) Apostles, nimbed, one kneeling, one orant, one with hands joined. Some look up toward dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed, hovering amid rays and tongues of flame. All within room decorated with architectural detail.
Miniature within gold frame with trilobe arch at top.
Margins decorated with floreate and foliate ornament, including large branches, and dianthus, and inhabited by goose, upright cat holding bellows under right front leg, and wildman, wearing hood, playing lute.
