Miniature:
Apostle Peter, nimbed, looking toward open book held in draped right hand and holding keys in left hand stands in grassy area with turf bench (?).
Margin, lower:
Peter, nimbed and wearing papal tiara, raising right hand and holding keys with left hand, is seated on draped throne.
Margins decorated with rectilinear frame around miniature and text, and with border of floreate and foliate ornament inhabited by owl.
