David: communicating with God -- David, crowned, with joined hands, kneels, looking up toward half figure of God, nimbed and with rays, raising right hand in blessing, holding cross surmounted globe with left hand, amid rays and flanked by six red angels. Harp and small gold container on ground next to David.
Scene in landscape with stream, rocky outcrops, sheep, figure with distaff and spindle, man carrying sack toward windmill, two (?) shepherds and city or castle in distance.
Miniature and text framed on three sides by rectilinear bars of gold decorated with vine scroll. Margins decorated with border of vine scroll.
