Psalm 001 (Vulg., 001):
1) David: as Musician -- David, crowned, seated on animal-headed faldstool, holds harp in left hand and points to it with right hand. Gittern with human head hangs beside him and psaltery rests on ground.
Scene against patterned background in barbed quatrefoil.
2) David: slinging at Goliath -- Beside hill with tree, David swings slingshot before Goliath in helmet and chain mail, holding shield. Dog stands between them.
Scene on foliate bar in lower margin (bas-de-page).
In margins, foliate extensions inhabited by birds.
