Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Angel Gabriel, decorated nimbus, raising left wing and right hand, pointing, stands before Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, veiled, raising right hand. Both figures hold closed books, each with two clasps, in draped left hands. Between them, on ground, is vase with two handles.
Scene occurs in mandorla set in diapered background enclosed in decorated frame.
