Left margin decorated with border of ivy rinceaux inhabited by: plucked bird (?) impaled on spear held in left hand of man, raising stick with right hand, looking back over right shoulder at dog biting end of his hood; man, crouching under long handled pan held by left hand of bishop, mitered, holding stick in the pan, with right hand.
