Evangelist, John: Scene, on Patmos -- Evangelist John. nimbed, with left hand raised, is seated on ground. In his lap is open book with pseudo-inscription. At right is his symbol (eagle), nimbed.
Scene in landscape setting. In sky is rayed arc of heaven.
Scene within architectural frame, at bottom of which is escutcheon charged with two keys argent in saltire and between them a triangle of the second. To the right is initial M.
