Zone 1:
1) Moses: Birth -- Beneath curtains draped over rod, Jochebed, veiled, sits in bed, extending her left hand toward midwife raising right hand, and Miriam holding Moses in swaddling clothes. Both midwife and Miriam wear snoods. Illustration of Exodus 2:1,2.
Moses: in Bulrushes -- To right, Jochebed, wearing snood, places Moses in swaddling clothes in ark on water. Illustration of Exodus 2:3-9.
2) Moses: brought to Daughter of Pharaoh -- Handmaid with towel around her shoulder extends swaddled infant Moses to Pharaoh's daughter; second handmaid holds towel; ark floats on water. To right, Pharaoh's daughter kneels beside Moses in cradle; Jochebed points to the infant with her right hand and places her left hand on arm of Miriam. Two trees. Illustration of Exodus 2:10.
Zone 2:
1) Moses: Burning Bush, and Moses: removing Sandals -- Moses stands leaning on pedum; Moses sits on ground, removing sandal and looking up at bust of Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, with book in draped left hand, in bush; flock including one nibbling a bush. Illustration of Exodus 3:2-5 and Exodus 3:5.
2) Aaron: speaking to Israelites -- In place of Aaron, Moses stands with pedum in left hand, addressing six Israelites with hands raised. Two kneel. Sheep in foreground. Illustration of Exodus 4:30,31.
