Christ: Nativity -- Heads of ox and ass appear over manger in which is Christ Child, cross-nimbed, swaddled, in architectural manger.
Below, Virgin Mary, veiled, head resting on square pillow, both hands raised, reclines on draped bed. At foot of bed, Joseph the Carpenter, decorated nimbus, wearing pointed cap, raises right hand to breast.
Scene occurs in mandorla set in diapered background enclosed in decorated frame.
